French movie icon Brigitte Bardot, 74, urges people not to vote for Republican VP candidate Sarah Palin or endorse the Republican ticket in next month’s election.
In an open letter to Sarah Palin, published in parts on Yahoo! News (AFP), Bardot states: “I hope you lose these elections because that would be a victory for the world”.
“By denying the responsibility of man in global warming, by advocating gun rights and making statements that are disconcertingly stupid, you are a disgrace to women and you alone represent a terrible threat, a true environmental catastrophe,” Bardot writes.
Bardot, who is in charge of an animal rights foundation, also remembers that Palin has described herself as a pitbull wearing lipstick and says she does not want Palin to compare herself to dogs. “I know them well and I can assure you that no pitbull, no dog, nor any other animal for that matter is as dangerous as you are,” the French film legend writes.
