Senator Pleasant Bridgewater is apparently going to have her day in court in early February, but isn’t quite yet ready to plead.
She’s offered no plea so far in the charges against her, which stem from the Travolta extortion attempt.
According to some of those in the know, what the woman actually did was to take a client who wanted to “sell” a paper he had from Travoltas childs ambulance ride. She apparently contacted Travoltas attorneys to say that her client wished to sell the paperwork.
Must be something more to it, wouldn’t you say? That doesn’t sound much like she was involved in anything more than being markedly stupid in her selection of clients to represent.
