Bret Michaels has had an eventful year, almost dying twice. It seems that these ordeals have made him gain some perspective. Evidence of this, in part, is his decision to get married and not to one of those Rock of Love girls. Instead, he has asked his long-time love Kristi Lynn, to get married. The couple has two daughters together.
Lynn and Michaels have been together 16 years and have a child together. Bret reportedly proposed on July 4th in Arizona while on break from his current tour schedule.
