After the death of Whitney Houston, her 19 year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina opens up to Oprah. Kristina hopes to drop the “Bobby” and the “Brown” and be Kristina Houston. During Kristina’s interview she talks about her mother’s spirit and feeling her presence with her “all the time”.
According to People Magazine Kristina spent the day of her mother’s death snuggling and spent time in her mother’s arms sleeping. After the death of Whitney, Kristina couldn’t spend the night at home in Atlanta. The following day Kristina found herself in the house she and her mother shared.
“I woke up and I heard her say, ‘All right, come home now, and when I came back home, I felt humble, I felt okay”, Kristina told Oprah on TV Sunday night.
Kristina also said,
“I can hear her voice in spirit talking to me, keep talking to me. I got you. She’s always with me. I can always feel her. I can always feel her with me. She always asked me, ‘do you need me’? I caught myself, out of nowhere, I didn’t even know I said it, I said, ‘I’ll always need you”.
Kristina feels it is now her duty to keep the Houston legacy going and she hopes singing, dancing and acting are in her future.
Keep your head up girl!
