Billy Mays has been found dead at the age of 50. The King of Infomercials the one of the hosts of The Discovery Channel’s Pitchmen series, Mays was found unresponsive early Sunday in his home in Tampa, Florida.
The Discovery Channel had this to say: “Billy was a pioneer in his field and helped many people fulfill their dreams.”
The OxiClean creator and founder became was totally adored for his loud and obnoxious… along with relentless deliveries and made guest appearances on television shows, such as the former Tonight Show With Jay Leno.
Tampa police sayid Mays was pronounced dead Sunday morning after being found by his wife, Deborah Mays, at home.
It was not clear how he died. He said he was hit on the head when a flight he was on made a rough landing on Saturday. Mrs Mays told investigators he did not feel well before he went to bed about 10 pm that night.
