THE estranged daughter of actor Billy Bob Thornton has been brought up on charges in Florida in relation to the death of a one year old child she was babysitting in Florida.

Amanda Brumfield was booked at the Orange County Jail yesterday in relation to the death of the child.
Her charges included first degree murder, aggravated child abuse and aggravated manslaughter of a child.

Court records say she had told the investigators the baby who died in her care in October acted normally and ate bananas after she fell from a playpen and hit her head.

Police detectives believe Brumfield’s story is inconsistent with the girl’s injuries.

Thornton’s publicist hsays that the actor hasn’t spoken to Brumfield for a number of years.
