Bill O’Reilly boycotting Sean Penn

Bill O’Reilly

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Fox News’s biggest star Bill O’Reilly, who is known for constantly criticizing the liberal folks in Hollywood, says he is actually a “big movie guy”.

However, there is one actor whose political opinions disturb him so much he won’t see his movies and that actor is Sean Penn. “He’s a great actor, and if you hire him, you’ll get a good performance,” O’Reilly explains. “I’m just not going to give a guy who gives aid and comfort to people like [Iran president Mahmoud] Ahmadinejad, Hugo Chavez and Saddam Hussein, when he was alive, my 10 bucks. That’s my right as an American.”

But on the question if O’Reilly encourages other Americans to do the same, he answers: “No. It’s a personal decision. I don’t tell people how to vote or how to spend their money. I don’t tell people how to do anything. In America, you decide for yourself.”
