Beyonce is reportedly going to be sued over backing out on a club appearance at the last moment.
Apparently she had agreed to appear and nearly 100000 was spent on preparation of the club for her appearance. Beyoncé reportedly faces a possible lawsuit by a club owner after reneging on an agreement to perform at the venue.
The singer was to perform in the M2 nightclub in New York City on Saturday as part of the launch of the North American leg of her Sasha Fierce’ tour, The New York Times reports.
Owner Joey Morrissey agreed to pay her $200,000 for the gig, but her management cancelled the appearance on Wednesday, despite a contract being signed and Morrissey spending $100,000 in preparation for the show.
He said: “They said they were too busy with the launching of the tour and that they wouldn’t have time to do the kickoff party.”
