Bernie Mac Hospitalized for PneumoniaFunnyman Bernie Mac, 50, died early Saturday morning from complications due to pneumonia, his rep confirmed.

Bernie Mac was admitted to Chicago’s Northwestern Memorial hospital on August 1 to get treatment for his pneumonia, and he was expected to recover from it.

It’s really sad…may his soul rest in peace…
