Advice from one Batman to another! Ben Affleck finally reveled that he received some very helpful advice that came from Christian Bale very shortly after the announcement that Affleck was the one chosen to portray the amazing caped crusader in Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice.
While talking to Ben Affleck at the New York premiere for this much anticipated movie, Ben at the age of 43, told US Weekly that Christian Bale who also played Batman until he ultimately chose to end his tenure as the Batman in the movie Dark Night in the year of 2012, had given Ben Affleck one great piece of advice when they met up.
Ben Afflack stated to Us that he ran into Christian while purchasing costumes for their children at a costume shop and they began to talk, as he was walking the red carpet at the Radio City Music Hall on Sunday, March 20th, 2016.
The one amazing piece of advice that Christian gave Ben, was to make sure that they place a zipper into the suit!
Christian Bale has previously admitted that although he ultimately decided to walk away from his superhero alter ego, he did find that he was a little jealous when he first heard that Ben Affleck had been chosen for this new role.
Christian admitted that initially, although he felt that it was the right time to stop playing Batman, there was always a little bit of him that said “Oh go on… Do another.” So when Christian heard that someone else was cast for the role of Batman there was a moment when he just stared into space for about an half of hour. Yet on the other hand he thought “But I’m 40” and the fact that he was jealous over someone else playing the part of Batman he would think that he should have gotten over it by now.
