After weeks of speculation it appears as though Louis Walsh and Gary Barlow are both returning to The X-Factor later this year, but as yet there is no news on who the other judges will be.
A close friend to Louis Walsh had the following to say to The Sun Newspaper about his possible return to the hit ITV music show. They said, “He’s been told by the heads of entertainment at ITV that he’s coming back. Obviously he wants to see the contract in his hand but everyone who has the power to make a decision on it has said he’s coming back so if that changes something very odd has gone on.”
Fans of the show will be pleased as Louis has been on the judging panel from the very start. As for Gary Barlow it is understood that he will be returning for a third year as well, though that has to be officially confirmed. As for the remaining judges it remains to be seen who they will be, though if the rumours are to be believed both Sharon Osbourne and Nicole Scherzinger could make up the remainder of the panel.
A few days ago Simon Cowell tweeted, “There will be a lot of changes on X factor UK and USA. But good changes. I feel excited for both shows this year”. As to what those changes are only time will tell, but could Simon and Sharon both be returning to the show, or will former judge Cheryl Cole be returning? Watch this space.
