Australian actress Brooke Satchwell survived the bloody Mumbai terrorist attacks Wednesday by hiding in a bathroom closet in Mumbai’s Taj Mahal Hotel while the terrorists killed foreigners and took hostages, Fox News reports.

The actress reportedly stayed in the closet until gunfire ceased.

“It was really terrifying,” she is quoted as saying by Yahoo! News. “There was people getting shot in the corridor. There was someone dead outside the bathroom.”

Satchwell, 28, is probably best known for her role as Anne Wilkinson in the Australian soap “Neighbours”
