Ashton Kutcher’s Debut on Two and a Half Men

Ashton Kutcher's Debut on Two and a Half MenAshton Kutcher’s highly anticipated debut on Two and a Half Men finally went to air on the CBS network on Monday night and the ratings have proved how curious audiences are. The season premiere was watched by 27.7 million people, that’s more than any other episode in the first eight seasons, when Sheen was the star.

It has been no secret that Charlie Sheen’s character, Charlie Harper, was to be killed off to make way for Ashton’s character. As it turns out the method that creator Chuck Lorre and the other ‘Men’ writers chose was that he slipped on a subway platform in Paris and was hit by an oncoming train.

Sheen is out to show that he’s really OK about the whole situation now, as the episode was airing he took to Twitter and wrote to his 4.8 million followers;

“surrounded by friends and watching the premier of Two and a Half Men. Odd… But cool..! So far a lot of laughs!! Nice…”

Now the question is will the ratings continue to be so high after initial curiosity drops off and a few more episodes have aired.
