Ashlee Simpson-Wentz to star in the Melrose Place remake

Singer/Actress Ashlee Simpson-Wentz will star in the remake of the popular television series “Melrose Place,” according to Reuters.

Ashlee will reportedly play Violet Foster, a small-town girl who has come to Los Angeles with a secret.

The show will premiere on The CW in the Fall 2009 season.

Don’t forget to watch Ashlee and her husband Pete Wentz on “CSI: NY” on March 18 - the two will play Bonnie-and-Clyde wannabes!!!
