Ariana Grande has announced her new perfume called “R.E.M.”
Teasing The Launch
The 27-year-old singer will release her sixth fragrance on August 18 at Ulta Beauty stores.
“in my dreams… i’m always the version of myself i was in break free tbh… REM… coming this month @ultabeauty :),” Ariana captioned a video of the bottle and packaging on Instagram story.
Grande said that the new fragrance would be a departure from the previous two in terms of packaging.
“very different because we finalized everything during quarantine but i love this creative,” she wrote. “it’s something i’ve actually always wanted to do for u guys so it worked out perfectly.”
The singer said that she has been wearing it herself every day since March.
“i always wanted to spend more time as this character / in this world …. so maybe that’s just what i’ll do… so much to look forward to… REM… new fragrance coming this month,” she added on another story.
“R.E.M.” joins the previously released scents “Moonlight,” “Ari by Ariana Grande,” “Sweet Like Candy,” “Cloud,” and “Thank U, Next.”
Documentary in Works Too
Ariana Grande is also preparing to release a documentary that follows the pop icon on her Sweetener Tour from 2019, according to recent reports by The Sun.
The new concert film will follow the 27-year-old on her big 2019 tour, starting with the release of her album Thank U, Next.
“Ariana’s team are negotiating a huge deal between a number of big hitters, with Netflix and YouTube both showing interest,” a source told the site. “Netflix has put forward a starting offer of $5 million to get the rights. The deal is being negotiated by Ariana’s closest advisers, led by Scooter Braun.”
“She had cameras following her every move on the Sweetener World Tour last year,” they added. “Along with her performances, Ariana was filmed backstage, while travelling and during downtime. It will be a brutally honest and raw depiction of how tough life can be on the road but will include the happier, heart-warming times too.”
Ariana Grande, has scored nine nominations for the upcoming MTV VMAs, scheduled for next month.
