Angelina Jolie on a Mission
Angelina Jolie is not only a Hollywood megastar but also a United Nations goodwill ambassador. She recently arrived in Baghdad on a humanitarian mission to highlight the issue of Iraqi refugees. Jolie met with top officials to demand help for the two million Iraqis now displaced by the war.
Angelina Jolie played an aid worker in the 2003 film Beyond Borders and subsequently became a volunteer for the United Nations goodwill program. Jolie also adopted her son Maddox during filming of this movie while in Cambodia.
