Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt donate $100,000 to children’s charity
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s Jolie-Pitt Foundation has donated $100,000 to the children’s charity Global Action for Children (GAC).
Global Action for Children is a nonpartisan, results-oriented coalition dedicated to advocating for orphans and highly vulnerable children in the developing world.
“With the holiday season upon us, we hope the generous gift from the Jolie-Pitt Foundation inspires others to give… Each and every donation can truly make a difference in the life of a child,” the charity’s executive director, Jennifer Delaney, says in a statement on GAC’s website.

Other donations Jolie and Pitt have made this year:
- Just a few months ago, Jolie and Pitt made a $2 million donation through their foundation to create a center for AIDS and tuberculosis-affected children in Ethiopia.
- In June, Pitt and Jolie donated $1 million to help children caught up in the Iraq war.
