Pamela Anderson is currently requesting that Mumbai authorities don’t go ahead with their plans to kill stray dogs.
The former Baywatch actress contacted the commissioner of the India financial capital by letter in the mail stating–
“I was very concerned to learn from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals [PETA] that dogs that live on the streets of Mumbai may be caught and cruelly destroyed,” she wrote.
“It is well established that killing stray dogs is not a permanent solution to controlling their populations.”
( wonders if PETA agrees– wasn’t it just a couple years ago, in an effort to explain away their employees killing and dumping dogs in someone else’s dumpster that they decreed they didn’t mind “rolling up their sleeves” and disposing of excess dogs?)
