Paula Abdul has apparently left American Idol because of the way she was treated by the show’s producers.
The singer, who had been on the popular show now for eight seasons, recently made the announcement that she was leaving the show after her contract negotiatons failed
According to The New York Times, a source close to her said that Abdul’s decision to vacate her post as a judge was largely due to a discrepancy with the pay scale between she and her male colleagues.
