Two days after his court hearing, A$AP Rocky was spotted on Sunday at Kanye West’s Sunday Service.
New York Rapper arrived at Los Angeles International Airport early Saturday morning after being released from police custody in Sweden that followed his altercation involving a 19-year-old man named Mustafa Jafari.
His involvement in the brawl landed the rapper in detention and subsequently set off an international firestorm.
The Trial
The music star, born Rakim Mayers, together with two members of his entourage, Bladimir Corniel and David Rispers, pleaded not guilty to assault charges.
The trio was released from custody on Friday and was allowed to travel back to the States. The ruling is expected to be announced on August 14th.
Following his release, Rocky took to social media to praise everyone who had been there and helped him through this difficult time.
Friends and family, as well as other celebrities, came to Rocky’s defence when the news of his arrest emerged.
He told his fans on Instagram upon his release: “I can’t begin to describe how grateful I am for all of you. This has been a very difficult and humbling experience. I want to thank the court for allowing me, Bladi, and Thoto to return to our family and friends. Thanks again for all the love and support.”
Kanye West and his wife, Kim Kardashian West have taken up this cause and urged the current White House administration and specifically President Donald Trump to take actions regarding the rapper’s case, amid his arrest and legal investigation in Sweden.
Moving On
Regardless of this unfortunate experience, A$AP Rocky seems to be adamant in re-connecting with family, friends and fans.
Apart from being seen up and about, the artist is scheduled to perform at the Real Street Festival on Sunday at the Honda Center in Anaheim where he will be welcomed by many devoted fans.
