Rapper 50 Cent is suing his ex-girlfriend Shaniqua Tompkins for defamation, after she openly accused him of causing the fire that burned down their New York home.
New York Daily News is reporting that 50 Cent’s lawyers have already been working on the defamation complaint against Tompkins.
“There comes a point where you can no longer sit on your hands and listen to her spread these falsehoods. Besides hurting his reputation, they have a damaging impact on their son,” said his lawyer Brett Kimmel.
The court hearing will take place this Friday, but 50 Cent will not be attending as he’s filming his new movie Microwave Park in Louisiana.
