According to the business pub, Rowling saw about 300 million hit the bank in the last year, or about 5 million a week.

Rowlings earnings are more than three times the next best selling author, James Patterson. One can only feel it would take a very great deal more than a proposed 25 dollar book to “:decimate” her livelihood.
