The Marion Country Club will be hosting its 35th Annual Marion County Youth Foundation Charity Celebrity Dinner and Golf Outing.
This fabulous annual Charity Celebrity Outing is in fact the only fundraiser that the Youth Foundation in Marion County host in order to support the grant funding that it receives.
Youth Foundation in Marion County
The Youth Foundation in Marion County has always been dedicated to assisting the youth of Marion County as they pursue their goals in vocational, academic, as well as any extracurricular activities. Since the founding in 1983, this foundation has given over 500 thousand dollars in assistance to over 9 thousand youth within the Marion County area.
Bill Davidge, the Columbus Blue Jackets TV analyst, will be returning this year as the master of ceremonies.
Celebrities that are Expected
Other celebrities that have already committed their time to this year’s event include the former OSU football players Ike Kelly, Drew Basil, Phil Strickland, and Jeff Logan. Returning for another year is the former Buckeye basketball player Rick Smith as well as the former high school coach Satch Sullinger.
Other will include Layne Dreven from Ohio State Volleyball team as well as Dave Maetzold, Fox Sports Ohio personality himself. And, we cannot forget about Jim Bradshaw, former Pittsburgh Steeler football player who will be stopping by for the very first time.
Other Activities
This event will also host live and silent actions. The items that are included in the live action include a 2015 U.S. Open flag signed by Jordan Spieth, an autographed and framed Blue Jackets jerseys, a Chief Wahoo print autographed by the originator of this Indians logo, and many other sports items.
