Chris Brown Says BET did NOT Snub Him.

Chris Brown is denying the claims that say he was banned from attending the Black Entertainment Awards (BET) on Sunday.

Found guilty last week of the assault on former girlfriend Rihanna, Brown says that he was never planning to appear at the music event.

The New York Daily News reported that Jay-Z had stepped in to voice his opposition. to Browns attendance.

“Jay is a big name in the BET community, and he was very vocal about his displeasure with Chris attending the ceremony. He didn’t want Chris anywhere near the awards so close to the court’s ruling,” a source told the newspaper.

However, a representative for Brown responded: “That’s not true - he was never confirmed to perform.”
What do you think? Is Brown personna non grata?

Landis Will Pursue Lawsuit In Spite of Jackson Death

John Landis says that he is going to stick to his guns on that Thriller lawsuit. In spite of the anger it may receive from an adoring public, he believes that the lawsuit must go on.

Landis had filed a breach of contract suit against Michael Jackson in January of this year, stating that four four years he had not been paid the royalties on the video he directed and co-wrote.
Landis is also shooting for money earned from making the hour long documentary.

He had taken legal action to keep Jackson from taking Thriller to the stage for the Broadway musical, and according to his interview with BloodyDisgusiting.com, he will proceed with the case as planned. “Despite Michael’s tragic death, the ‘Thriller’ lawsuit continues,” he said.

Landis paid his respects to the pop superstar earlier last week by commenting: “Michael was an extraordinary talent and a truly great international star.”

Drug Overdose is Jackson Death Ruling?

According to the know all tell all site TMZ, the cause of death in Michael Jacksons case, if we’re to believe what we read, is a drug overdose.

TMZ claims that a Demerol shot - and possibly one other drug - led to the superstar’s demise on Thursday. So was it an overdose, was it an allergy.. whats the scoop?

Despite an LA coroner recently recently saying that there was no evidence of any kind of foul play, behind the autopsy, the Jacksons have reportedly said they want a second opinion.. hm.. second opinion for what folks? To tell us he died or WHY he died? Does it matter in the end run? The LAPD is still conducting an active investigation.

We’d personally like a second opinion though. Anyone else notice that all the notices about Michael being sued by his former rep, about Michael fighting with his family and etc.. are all now conveniently buried on page nine hundred and seventy two?
